Hello,

the name of my Main-Character in Tibia is Taghor Mithrilbasher. The Server i play on is Antica. I tried to level some chars on other worlds but i allways returned to the old Antica.

I started playing in Summer 1998 and stumbled accross Tibia cause i heard about the new game concept of a Multiplayer Online RPG. The game known to all back then was Ultima Online. So i searched for the words: “like Ultima Online free”. And voilas i was directed to a game called Tibia.

After some starting problems (I was hunted the first day by almost the whole community cause i did loot a corpse of a well known player as he was killed at the west gate. Since i didn’t know that it was the corpse of a player i surely took the stuff. But this could be solved after all) i really liked the game. Of course the graphic was bad and the Game didn’t gave you as much possibilities as UO. But the community was great and that led to many online hours.

After a while a RL-friend introduced me to the members of a guild called AFT (Alliance of free Tibians). And after a while it was clear for me that i wanted to be a member in there. So i joined them and till today the AFT is and will be my only guild which i ever joined in Tibia.

Cause of my activities i got a bit known in Tibia. And after a while (in early 2000 if i renember correct) i was asked by CIP if i would take the job as a Gamemaster. I did so and the time of a quiet life in Tibia was over at that moment.

In late 2001 CIP introduced the position of a Senior-Gamemaster and together with Knightmare and Lliannan i was promoted to this position. People don’t know much of the work which we did as Senior-gamemasters. But i surely will add some stories from that time here on this site.

In spring 2004 i began to work on my diploma-thesis on computer science. Cause of this the time i had for Tibia and especially for my SGM Job was too low to make a good job. So i decided in May 2004 to quit my SGM-Position.

But i never did quit Tibia totally. I am not often online but i browse the forums and from time to time i add my 2 cents.

The idea to this blog came cause of nostalgy-feelings on th goo old times :)

But enough about me. Let the history speak for itself.
